Runes

     The word rune comes from the ancient Norse word "Runa", meaning a secret or mystery. These mysterious Rune symbols have dated as far back as 1300 BC. Through Norse mythology, it is believed that the early Runemasters had mystical powers due to their ability to interpret the runes. Essentially, runes are a form of alphabet believed to represent the Old Norse language, every symbol representing a word and entire concept behind it. This is very much a Viking-style of reading.
